Stanford Skiing is a family-run ski company specialising in ski holidays in Megeve, France. We run our own catered ski chalets and chalet-hotels and also arrange holidays in self-catered apartments and 3* and 4* hotels in Megeve. In addition to full-week ski holidays we offer ski weekends and short ski breaks in our catered chalets, apartments and hotels, and alpine holidays in the summer.

Geneva airport transfers

Megeve is a very good option for ski weekends and short ski breaks because it is only just over an hour away from Geneva. We have our own fleet of minibuses and are fully licensed for airport transfers.

A huge ski area, with inexpensive lift pass

The Megeve ski area is huge. It has more than 400 km of piste and is one of the largest resorts in France, yet the skipass costs at least 50Euros less than other major ski resorts.

The most charming ski resort in France

The village is traditional, picturesque and friendly. Although Megeve has a reputation as the most chic ski resort in France, you can stay at our catered chalet hotels and experience Megeve at very reasonable prices. Our guests enjoy low bar prices and there are no extras for wine, tea, coffee etc. All our ski accommodation is near the town centre and ski lifts.

About Us

We are a family company run by John & Kathryn Kinnear and their daughter Elizabeth. We have been skiing in Megeve for 25 years and are always happy to discuss your individual requirements with you. John & Kathryn are based in Megeve in the winter to ski with guests and, together with Jonny & Tracey, our resort management team, ensure that you enjoy your holiday.

Debbie and Georgie work with Elizabeth in the office to ensure that the administration runs smoothly. All of us are happy to share our knowledge and experience to ensure your Megeve ski holiday matches your needs.
